MAKE TALK PLAY – Tim Adan is speaking on Networking (the social kind)

Hey Devs, 

About a year and half ago, Tim Adan came to one of our events at the Quarters and introduced himself.  He told me he was a sound designer and composer and wanted to connect with other devs in the area. He was smiling, friendly, professional and handed me his business card. After the event, I went home and checked out his work (spoiler…it was fantastic!). 

This interaction with Tim was a near perfect example of how you network, which is not always easy. In fact, in can be incredibly difficult and intimidating! How do you approach people? What do you say? What don’t you say? What do you bring? How do you not hide in the bathroom stall for the entire event? How do you get someone interested enough to follow up with you after you meet them? 

I’m still learning myself and that’s why I’m excited that Tim Adan has offered to join us for the next MAKE TALK PLAY with a presentation on How To Network!
